Five weeks from now, the most anticipated "Arrow/Flash" crossover, "Legends of Tomorrow" will finally debut on TV and it is expected to be as good as the two ongoing superhero shows.
With that said, it is interesting to see how the superheroes will be balanced on the three shows but EP Greg Berlanti confirmed that the eight main characters in Legends will get less screen time on both "Arrow" and "Flash" when it airs on Jan. 21, Thursday.
"In fact, once Legends is born in January, there's really no intersection on the other shows. Legends is kind of its own wacky, crazy kind of thing that allows for some fun surprises in terms of who may visit and how because they're flying through the timeline and you'll start to see more of that. But not on Arrow or Flash," he told IGN.
Meanwhile, it looks like Robbie Amell will make a return but it is not confirmed if he will be back as the partner of Dr. Martin Stein. It is worth noting that the first episode of "The Flash" season 2 revealed that Ronnie Raymond sacrificed himself in order to save Central City from the Singularity Vortex.
Here's a hint that there is a possibility of Amell returning to the universe via Realty Today.
"Legends of Tomorrow" cast is comprised of Victor Garber and Franz Drameh as Firestorm, Brandon Routh as The Atom, Caity Lotz as White Canary, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Ciara Renée as Hawk-girl, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold and Falk Hentschel as Hawk-man.
"Legends of Tomorrow" release date is set Thursday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. and will be part of The CW's three headed-hydras of superhero shows in 2016. "Arrow" and "The Flash" resumes the same week, July 19 and 20, respectively.
