Jose Aldo Still Devastated After Shocking Loss Against Conor McGregor In UFC 194

Many are still in disbelief after seeing one of UFC's best, Jose Aldo go down in a matter of 13 seconds against the new UFC Featherweight champion, Conor McGregor.

Many anticipated this blockbuster match as this is one of the fiercest rivalries in the sport today. However, nobody anticipated the result, especially the Brazilian martial artist.

Aldo, finally talked about the match and he still finds it hard to swallow. For him, the fight outcome didn't give justice to the amount of training and effort they gave.

"It still is too hard to digest," Aldo told Combate via Yahoo Sports. "We trained hard, did everything right, and the result wasn't positive. It takes a while for us to digest, but it's part [of the sport]. It's a sport and we have to accept."

"So, there wasn't even a fight, right? Only 13 seconds," he said. "And I also remember when I came in, how I tried to punch. But, man, it's hard to say know if it's [his] success or [my] mistake. It's a quick decision, and he was able to connect a good punch when I tried a combination."

Asked if he would immediately demand for a rematch, the Brazilian fighter wants one without question. He believes his legacy will make it less harder for him to get one.

"We spoke [with Dana White] right after," he said. "But I think it's too soon to talk. Of course, I want a rematch, and I think I have this right. Not only me, but my career speaks for itself."

He continued, "It wasn't this time, but we will come out victorious, for sure. It's a sport, we have to accept. Not only from wins you live your life. That makes us stronger. Way stronger. You can be sure that we will come back stronger, more champion than I was before."

However, Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports believes that Aldo looking like a push-over over the course of the promotion might be the reason why he won't be getting an immediate rematch agaist Conor McGregor.
