‘Thundercats’ Movie To Start In 2016? Actors Who Wants To Join The Cast Emerge

Reports of a "Thundercats" movie emerge as rumors spread about the film being started in 2016.

Total Film recently had an interview with star of "X-Men: Apocalypse" James McAvoy, wherein they talked about the possibility of the "Thundercats" movie, wherein he expressed his intentions to be in the film if ever a film studio picks up the idea and turns it into reality.

However, the actor also believed that the film may be impossible to happen and the possibility of the film being made even in 2016 is a long shot.

"I would love to see a Thundercats movie but it's never going to happen," McAvoy revealed in an interview. "Lion-O is something great for any actor out there"

The idea, meanwhile, started after the actor playing Professor Xavier in the X-Men series saw a fan-made trailer of "Thundercats" in a viral video showcasing Vin Diesel, Hugh Jackman and Brad Pitt, edited to look like they were actually in the film.

"There is a great trailer for Thundercats where they took Brad Pitt and made him Lion-O, Hugh Jackman as Tygra and Vin Diesel as Panthro," the 35-year-old actor said.

Meanwhile, another actor expressed his intentions to play a role in a potential "Thundercats" movie in 2016.

According to a report by Yahoo News, Eddie Redmayne said that he is willing to play Snarf in the film, after expressing his intentions to play Bananaman in a different movie.

"Please, I'm desperate to do Bananaman," Redmayne said in a Yahoo News interview. "Bananaman is this great guy who eats a banana, and he becomes Bananaman. He's the one that I've always wanted to play, to the extent that Andrew Garfield - an old pal - was asked in an interview, 'If you could play any superhero other than Spider-Man, who would you play?' And he was thinking about it, and the interviewer was like, 'Bananaman?' And Andrew was like, 'No, Eddie's playing that.'"

"I'd like to play Snarf," he said.
