It is now the third week of December and yet news on "Pokemon Z" has come too far in between which has made fans a little bit wary - and disappointed.
In fact, the gaming community was hoping that Nintendo would be announcing within this month the official release date of the much-awaited game, but it seems the company has been careful in giving out information, according to MNR Daily.
"Nintendo has been very secretive about the game for a while now, which made fans desperate for information," the online news portal noted.
Followers of the highly-popular franchise were expecting the Japanese company to finally make the big reveal in the December issue of Japanese magazine Coro Coro.
Expectations were raised when Coro Coro's November issue said that Nintendo would be making "a very big announcement," wherein many fans speculated would be official news on the roll out of "Pokemon Z."
However, it turns out that the latest issue of the anime magazine wasn't about the release date of "Pokemon Z" but "revealed some very interesting new updates in the form of the previously teased blue colored Zygarde Core."
It is rumored that that the legendary "Pokemon" would be the central focus of "Pokemon Z."
Coro Coro's December issue likewise confirmed that Volcanion, the first fire/water type "Pokémon," will make its maiden appearance together with Zygarde in the upcoming "Pokémon XY and Z" movie.
"Pokémon Z" is the highly-anticipated sequel to the hit "Pokémon X and Y" games that were released in December 2013.
In the meantime, Master Herald hinted that despite the scarcity of news on "Pokemon Z," there is a chance the game will be released during the first quarter of next year.
"Fans of 'Pokemon' who are waiting for "Pokemon Z" might finally have some light at the end of the tunnel, as rumors have surfaced that the game is being prepared for release in February," the website said.
"The rumors are still a bit sketchy and difficult to confirm, but it seems very plausible that the game could indeed come out in a couple of months," the news site added, raising hopes that "Pokemon Z" might be released sooner than expected.
