This week's episode picks up with the hunt for Hitoe, and finds Tatewaki, Sakurako, Isozaki and Minami headed toward a cabin in the forest. They enter the cabin and find Hitoe sleeping with a dead dog. She appears to have taken sleeping pills, but far less than a lethal dose. But it appears that Hector the dog has found another body in the yard. The body belongs to Nishizawa Futaba, former friend of Minami.
Sakurako asks the girls which one of them killed Nishizawa, but it appears to be that she actually committed suicide. Minami tells the story of how Nishizawa had wanted them all to commit suicide together. Minami had run away because she did not want to die with them. Ultimately, Nishizawa hung herself alone and Hitoe had hurt herself trying to get her down. Minami was the one to bury her.In a turn of events, Sakurako discovers through further examination that Nishizawa was strangled, and did not hang herself.
Sakurako deduces that Hitoe was the one to kill her. Hitoe reveals that Nishizawa forced her to strangle her. Nishizawa had rushed to kill her and then kill herself if Hitoe wouldn't participate.Minami and Hitoe argue until Isozaki stops it, apologizing for not knowing of their pain. Sakurako suddenly announces that the case is even deeper than that. It appears that the painter Hanabusa that both girls were obsessed with, may be the infamous bone thief that Sakurako's uncle has long been looking for. It is revealed that Hanabusa manipulated both of them.
Suddenly, Minami rushes at Sakurako with a sculpting knife. Tatewaki steps in the way and is severely hurt. Luckily, he survives.
Later in the hospital, Sakurako reveals that Hanabusa is partially responsible for all the cases they have solved so far. As a result, Sakurako wants Tatewaki to stay away. She never wants to see his bones.
