Rockets Trade Rumors: Terrence Jones Traded For Markieff Morris?

The Houston Rockets have been in the rumor mix as the team continues its struggles. General manager Daryl Morey recently shared that the organization will continue to make changes until there is significant improvement which leads many to believe that trades are coming.

As per bleacherreport.com, Morey spoke about the team's struggles and the potential roster moves. "We will change until it's working," Morey said. We win at the Rockets. Mr. [Leslie] Alexander does not accept losing. I don't accept losing. The players, no one accepts losing. We've been the fifth-most winning franchise since Mr. Alexander's owned the team. We're going to do whatever it takes to win."

Newly acquired Point guard Ty Lawson has been in the rumor mill for quite some time due to his inability to play off the ball with James Harden. However, the first player to go via trade might be oft-injured forward Terrence Jones. The rumored potential trade partner is the Phoenix Suns who are looking to move disgruntled big man Markieff Morris.

It was reported by cbssports.com that Morris was already fined by the Suns for publically demanding a trade.

In an interview with philly.com, Morris spoke about his future with the Suns. "One thing for sure, I am not going to be there," Morris said.

"If you want to put that out there, you can put that out. " he added. "I don't give a [freak]. I am not going to be there at all. That's just what it is."

When asked whether he would show up for the team this season, Morris said "I've got to show up. No question. You can't do that. I will be a professional. Don't get me wrong."

"But it won't get that far," he added. "I'm going to be out before then, should be."

Experts says that a Jones for Morris swap would be beneficial to both parties as both forwards need a fresh start.
