Washington Wizards News: John Wall Losing Focus? Throws $50k At Strip Club

The Washington Wizards are surprisingly off to a poor start as they sit last (10-14) in the Southeast division and are currently out of playoff contention.

Aside from injuries, it looks like their main star, John Wall is losing focus which is evident in his subpar stats compared from last season. The floor general is averaging 19.6 points, 8.9 assists, and 2.1 steals per ball game.

After finishing in the second round from last year's playoffs, the Wizards should find the solution quickly to go back to their winning ways. John Wall, will also have to regain focus as his recent actions might be an indication of not having his head in the game.

In a report by Bleacher Report, Wall reportedly spent $50,000 on a strip club, which got the attention of NBA analyst and former player, Jalen Rose. Here's what the former Indiana Pacer forward has to say via ESPN's Jalen & Jacoby.

"Russell Westbrook and John Wall both did a great charitable thing. Russell Westbrook giving a million dollars to UCLA, it's noble, it's recognizable, it's something that's going to create a legacy for his name for years to come. It's philanthropic work," Rose said.

Then, he stressed what's the difference between Westbrook's action compared to Wall's. He said that this act might lead him somewhere undesirable in the future.

"Now, the charity that John Wall did, that's the charity that makes it to the hood, and it also is a donation to those who are working really hard to entertain adults that evening. And when a customer does come in and spends that type of cake, everyone leaves with full bags. And you know what? I support full bags!" Rose added.
