Former NBA player Lamar Odom is on his way to recovery but he still has a long way to go according to doctors.
The former NBA star has been hospitalized since October and he is slowly getting back to his feet. According to a report by Radar Online, Odom needs to be transferred to a facility that specializes in physical rehabilitation.
"There really hasn't been a lot of improvement in Lamar's overall health and it's time for him to transition from care at Cedars to another facility that can focus on his physical rehabilitation. Medically, there isn't anything more that can be done for Lamar at Cedars Sinai," as stated in the website.
As of writing, they have yet to find a place for Odom as he needs to control his bladder first.
"And another facility they had considered can't take Lamar because he is still unable to control his bladder. There will be a very, very long road to Lamar's recovery and it's unclear what's next."
However, he is not getting 100% support from his wife, Khloe Kardashian as she doesn't want Odom anywhere near hear house.
"Khloe doesn't want Lamar to be moved close to her house, because she feels that there would be pressure to visit him every day," the source remarked.
"But Khloe has flat-out refused let Lamar move into her house," the source stressed. "She doesn't want her house to be a hospital. She has been very clear about that."
Also, his children, who came from the East Coast, are by his side but moving him to their place is not advisable as of the moment.
"Lamar's people want him to be in a quality care facility. But they are having trouble finding one that is secure and will provide him with the treatment he needs," the source said.
