With Slash and Axl Rose reportedly in good terms, reports are starting to point out that a Guns N Roses reunion would most likely happen in 2016 and could even be the start of a new album from the group.
According to a recent report by GNR Truth, which was written by Jose Norberto Flesch, the site revealed how rumors about the reunion of Guns N Roses for 2016 has been getting close to a possibility after revealing how legal issues have been settled, which prevented the members of the group from playing alongside each other.
"Heads up!" the report said. "The 'possible return of Guns' story is stronger now. I've heard that the legal issues have been solved. Now it's up to the band."
Furthermore it has also been noted how the band has already been listed to perform in big stages such as Coachella in 2016, which is reportedly the stage set for the Guns N Roses reunion.
"Guns already has an offer from Coachella for a long time," the report added. "It was only a matter of solving their issues."
"European festivals are also anxiously awaiting for a resolution for all Guns related problems."
With all of these things happening, Alternative Nation pointed out how Slash could potentially have a short stint with GNR for a possible reunion tour and that new album reports could not happen, as the guitarist is scheduled to go on tour with his other band Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators in 2016-17.
Reports about the Guns N Roses reunion in 2016 started a few months back after Blabbermouth revealed that Slash and Axl Rose agreed to play alongside each other again.
"Slash and Axl have verbally agreed to get things together again and reform the original band," the insider reportedly said. "The live shows are where they can show the world what they had and also make the greatest earnings."
"Promoters are quietly working away to land opportunities. Details of the reunion are expected to leak out in the next few days. Everyone is expecting huge demand for tickets, but the boys are very humble and are not sure what to expect."
