Watch New 'ERASED' Anime Trailer Featuring English Subs [VIDEO]

If you really enjoyed "The Perfect Insider" and "Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation" anime series this season, you're in luck for the 2016 winter anime season.

That is to say, the mystery anime genre is making a comeback of sorts.

Recently, Aniplex of America began streaming a new trailer for the upcoming "Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi" or "ERASED" anime series. The trailer, available to view below, previews the story of the series with English subtitles. The "ERASED" anime series will begin streaming on Crunchyroll and Japanese TV on Jan. 7.

So far, fans appear to be very interested in the upcoming "ERASED" anime series:

"I'm excited for this one. It looks like it'll be a good mystery series, and it's always nice to see animation by A-1 Pictures," said Mike the Anime Runner on Youtube.

Crunchyroll reports that "Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi" anime series will be directed by Tomohiko Ito with character designs by Keigo Sasaki. Taku Kishimoto will write the screenplay. As noted by fans, A-1 Pictures will handle the animation production.

No "ERASED" anime English dub has been announced, but the Japanese voice cast for the series has been confirmed as follows:

Aoi Yūki as Kayo Hinazuki

Chinatsu Akasaki as Airi Katagiri

Yō Taichi as Kenya

Akari Kitō as Hiromi

Ayaka Nanase as Osamu

Yukitoshi Kikuchi as Kazu

Takahiro Mizushima as Jun Shiratori

Minami Takayama as Sachiko Fujinuma

Mitsuru Miyamoto as Manabu Yatsushiro

"Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi" or "ERASED" was originally a manga series by Kei Sanbe. Kadokawa is publishing the series and released the sixth volume in July.

For those not familiar with the manga series, Aniplex of America describes the story of "ERASED" as follows:

"REVIVAL: A strange phenomenon where one is transferred back in time right before something life-threatening occurs... Does this strange phenomenon have something to do with the girl who disappeared years ago? What truths are revealed when Satoru comes face to face with his own past?"
