Anime can be a gateway into a lot of things, the easiest example being manga since a large portion of anime is based on original manga series.
It seems only right then that the inclusion of opening, ending, and insert songs would lead many fans to get into Japanese music.
Perhaps picking up on this, Toho Animation recently began streaming a music video featuring the insert song from episode three of the "Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash" anime series. The song in question is entitled "Stand on the Ground" by (K)Now_NAME. Fans can check out the music video below.
According to Anime News Network, Toho Animation previously streamed insert songs from previous episodes entitled "Seeds," "Brave Storm," and "Head Wind." The company also streamed a 30-second commercial for the ending theme song. All the songs from the series are expected to be released in Japan on Feb. 17.
The "Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash" anime is based on an original light novel series by Ao Jumonji. The light novel series first launched in 2013 and the sixth novel was released in October 2015. The light novel series also yielded a manga adaptation in April 2015.
Funimation, who is streaming the "Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash" anime series to fans outside of Japan, describes the story as follows:
"From A-1 Pictures, the studio behind Fairy Tail and Sword Art Online: When Haruhiro awakens, he's in the dark surrounded by people who have no memory of where they came from or how they got there."
It goes on:
"As the darkness fades, a fantastic new world called "Grimgar" appears before them and their adventure begins-but first, they'll have to choose their guild, class, and special abilities."
