Every manga or anime (or Japanese video game) fan eventually comes across the "notice me senpai" joke eventually.
But what's a girl to do who actually wants senpai to notice them?
A new mobile game from Skillshot Labs has taken out the guessing game in the rules of attraction and makes it super easy to get senpai to notice you. That is to say, by the time you're one day into the "Notice Me Senpai" mobile game, you'll be collecting them left and right.
If the premise collecting cute things seems familiar, it's because there are definite similarties between "Notice Me Senpai" and the adorable "Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector" mobile game. In a nutshell, all a player has to do is refill their space - in this case a café - with items like food and drink and the cute things will come.
However, "Notice Me Senpai" sets itself apart with its style and similarities to dating simulator games without overly long story scrolling (here's looking at you "Destiny Ninja 2") or luck based mini-games. Basically, you can collect a bunch of cute senpais by simply making sure you refill the coffee machine and setting out items for them to entertain themselves with.
Speaking of the cute senpais, they all resemble various types of guys you meet in manga or anime. There's the nerdy type, the video game otaku-type, and my personal favorite, the lazy senpai who never goes to school but is somehow still really smart.
As for the cost, the basic level of "Notice Me Senpai" is free to play, and you can purchase items with money that the senpais leave behind after enjoying coffee, tea, or the snacks and entertainment you put out for them. There is also daily login incentives that ultimately add up to a specific item that will attract a specific senpai.
What's in it for me, a fangirl may ask?
After a senpai visits often enough, he will leave you cute notes and eventually an event and CG.
If you're interested in collecting cute boys in "Notice Me Senpai," it is available now for both Android and iOS platforms.
