Harry Styles will not be a part of "Scream Queens" season 2 cast. He will, however, be in Christopher Nolan's WWII action thriller project.
There were speculations that the One Direction member will make an appearance in Ryan Murphy's hit thriller as one of the three "hunky doctors" that the show's executive producer Brad Falchuk mentioned exclusively to HollywoodLife.com.
However, the official Twitter account of the series clarified that Harry Styles will not be a part of the "Scream Queens" season 2 cast. They made the announcement on Sunday, Mar. 13.
"Sorry for any confusion, but as much as we love @harry_styles he will not be joining the #ScreamQueens Season 2 cast," the show's account tweeted.
According to Jobs&Hire, it all started when "Scream Queens" season 2 cast Lea Michele gushed about the singer. Co-stars Kiki Palmer and Emma Roberts also mentioned how much they want Harry Styles in the show.
"I also heard a rumor that [series creator Ryan Murphy] may, I don't know if this is true, but he said at a press thing recently that he is talking to a male pop star to come for next year," Michele said.
"If it's Harry Styles, everybody better calm down. I love One Direction. Everybody knows this. I'm also thinking that he should be in the 'Wicked' movie. He's our modern day Mick Jagger."
Harry Styles may not be in the "Scream Queens" season 2 cast but he will make his acting debut in Christopher Nolan's WWII action thriller film, "Dunkirk."
The Hollywood Reporter noted that the One Direction singer is confirmed to be in Nolan's movie. English actors Jack Lowden and Aneurin Barnard are also said to be in negotiations to be a part of the production.
Fionn Whitehead is believed to take on the lead role of the project. Actors Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh have also been casted for the film. "Dunkirk" is slated for release on Jul. 21, 2017.
