Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Release Date Coming As Early As July?

There are speculations that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release date will happen a month earlier than its predecessor's release date. According to a South Korean website, The Bell, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release date might come as early as mid-July.

The site also reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be preinstalled with the latest Android operating system by the time of its release.

Google's new Android operating system, which the company showed a preview earlier this month, is currently labeled as Android N. The final version of the new Android OS will be ready by July and this matches with the report that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release date will be in mid-July.

International Business Times reported that the new Android operating system will have new features which include the Split Screen mode, enhanced notifications, improved Quick Settings and Data Saver.

The Android N Developer Preview 1 update is already accessible through OTA (over-the-air) for the Google Nexus 5X, Google Nexus 6P, Google Nexus 6, Google Nexus 9 (LTE), Google Nexus Player and Google Pixel C.

Some devices can be manually flashed since Google has already released the factory images of the update. However, flashing a factory image is quite a bit hard especially for users who will be trying it for the first time.

Inexperienced users are advised to register with the Android Beta Program to receive notifications about the Android N Developer Preview OTA update on their mobile devices. Users must also be informed that the current preview update is not yet stable as it is only the first out of five preview updates before the final update version of the Android N operating system which will be made available by July.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 6 may be the first non-Nexus Android device to sell with the latest Android operating system (which will be Android N) upon the device's release.
