The "Heroes of the Storm" Summer Global Circuit's prize pool has been set to be over $1.2 million.
This upcoming event is similar to the Spring Championships where players from the regional qualifiers compete to be given the chance to become representatives for their region. There will only be 12 teams that will be competing in the "Heroes of the Storm" Summer Global Circuit's final tournament during the DreamHack Summer in Jönköping, Sweden.
The 12 teams during the Summer Global Circuit's final tournament will have to battle each other for their share of the prize pool which amounts to $500,000.
Blizzard also announced on the "Heroes of the Storm's" website that both North America and Europe will have an additional Summer Regional events amounting to $100,000. The winners of the regional qualifiers for both of these regions will earn a spot at the final tournament.
The level of competition from teams around the globe is evidently higher as what we saw during the Spring tournaments. Blizzard is eager to see which teams will be competing again and is also very excited for newcomers that will emerge in the "Heroes of the Storm" Summer Global Circuit.
