‘Pokemon Sun And Moon’ Rumors: Fire And Water Set As Last Two Ultimate Gym Pokemon Types?

Fans continue to create theories and speculations about the possible gameplay details of the upcoming and all-new "Pokemon Sun and Moon," including a recent theory by a fan named Bird Keeper Toby who dished on the possible Pokemon gym types for the new game.

Published in the Bitbag, Bird Keeper Toby predicted the eight possible Pokemon types to be featured in the eight different gyms of "Pokemon Sun and Moon." According to him, these eight "Pokemon Sun and Moon" gym types will include Normal, Poison, Ground, Flying and Dark. Accordingly, the last two ultimate gyms will be Fire and Water, as these two would represent the Sun and Moon.

Bird Keeper Toby also claimed that the eight "Pokemon Sun and Moon" gym types were already teased in the Pokemon anime, specifically in a scene where Ash and Sawyer were involved. According to his theory, the gym badges shown by Sawyer to Ash on the scene in question will be the basis of the gym types in "Sun and Moon."

Meanwhile, "Pokemon" series director Junichi Masuda, when asked about new Pokemons in an interview, said that there would be "more than 10" new Pokemons in "Sun and Moon." Fans always expect for new Pokemons every time a new game is introduced, as well.

On the other hand, Ecumenical News said that director Junichi Masuda may have been joking when he said that there will be over 10 new Pokemons for "Sun and Moon." The report highlighted that in each new game, around one hundred or more new Pokemons are always introduced and "more than 10" might be too low.

The report, however, noted that if, indeed, Masuda was not lying about the 10 new Pokemons, the game should at least compensate the lack of new creatures with a good storyline with new adventures.
