‘One Piece’ Chapter 823 Spoilers: Luffy Vs Big Mom Looming; Admiral Ryokugyu Vs Straw Hats?

Things are really getting fired up as Luffy and the Straw Hats are poised to face their greatest opponents ever; Chapter 823 will be released very soon and we are about to see Luffy face off the first of the many awaiting major foes, Big Mom!

A new arc has started for Luffy and the Strawhats as they take on a new set of opponents, apparently their biggest ever, and fans are teeming with excitement over what twists and revelations await them over this new story arc.

Slazer77, in Oro Jackson, predicted that Sanji will be featured in Chapter 823 and is about to get married against his will. Big Mom is rather confident that everything will go as planned and when Sanji's bride-to-be warns her that Sanji might escape or the Straw Hats might ruin their plans, Big Mom reveals that the World Government has sent Admiral Ryukugyu to make sure the marriage pushes through.

This will be the first time that "One Piece" fans will be seeing Admiral Ryokugyu although previously in the manga series (via "One Piece" Wikia), Ryokugyu was briefly mentioned by Doflamingo when he was talking to Fujitora. Doflamingo said that Admiral Ryokugyu is the "true beast in terms of power." Nothing is known yet about Ryokugyu's power and abilities.

Meanwhile, according to Ecumenical News, there are five possible narrative paths that Chapter 823 may take on.

"The first is the Sanji retrieval team led by Monkey D. Luffy, next is Kinemon's team that will go to the Wano country where they'll meet with the samurais, the third party is for Momonosuke (Kinemon's son) that will stay behind to decipher the mystery behind Zunisha where he will be accompanied by Duke of the Day Inuarashi, the fourth group is the search for Whitebeard's Pirate first commander Marco that is led by Ruler of the Night Nekomamushi, and lastly, Alabasta Kingdom's Vivi, who is about to sail along with her father and others more from their kingdom," the report read.
