Hit drama "NCIS" is nearing its Season 13 finale, which also marks the much-talked about exit of Michael Weatherly who plays special agent Tony DiNozzo; today CBS officially announced that the finale is entitled "Family First."
The official synopsis for the "NCIS" Season 13 finale reads (via Carter Matt): "NCIS, FBI, MI6 continue an international manhunt for an escaped British spy who is targeting current and former agents."
Carter Matt, in its report, said that it is quite noticeable and interesting that Michael Weatherly and his character, Tony DiNozzo, is not even mentioned in the synopsis of Season 13's final episode, it being the last episode of Weatherly in the show. The report, however, commented that the structure of the official synopsis is a "smart" one since it involves current and former agents; by involving former agents, the past will certainly be looked back, making it a perfect tribute to Michael Weatherly.
And talking about former agents, fans know well that Cote de Pablo's Ziva is one of the most prominent former agents of "NCIS" hence a possible cameo for the well-loved character is highly possible. Fans have been clamoring for a reunion of Tony DiNozzo and Ziva before Weatherly exits the show and although no report has been known about Cote de Pablo recently taping for the show, hopes remain high for the much-requested reunion.
Meanwhile, another rumored appearance for the Season 13 finale is of the First Lady, Michelle Obama. According to Cinema Blend, the rumor about Michelle Obama's cameo started when Mark Harmon was spotted leaving the White House. Harmon has previously revealed that "NCIS" Season 13 is filming inside and outside of the White House. Accordingly, details to the role of Michelle Obama is yet to be revealed.
Michelle Obama has also previously appeared in "Parks and Recreation" Season 6, where she promoted her "Moving Up" campaign.
