Samsung Galaxy S7 Active may be available soon.
According to Times of India, a recent listing on Zauba has hinted at a Samsung Galaxy S7 Active variant.
"A smartphone with 5.1-inch phone going by model number SM-G891A reportedly entered the country," the website wrote. This follows the same tagging as Galaxy S6 Active, SM-G890A, which was released last year.
Meanwhile, Know Your Mobile reported that both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have the same storage capacity of 32 or 64 GB with an expandable external memory of up to a whopping 200 GB. Both have 4 GB of RAM and run on Samsung Exynos 8890 as its processors.
The two devices also have 12 MP rear cameras with f/1.7 aperture and can take 4K videos. Their front cameras are at 5 megapixels. The Samsung Galaxy S7 specs feature a 5.1-inch display with a 2560×1440-pixel resolution at 577ppi while the S7 Edge has a 5.5-inch display with a 2560×1440-pixel resolution at 534 ppi.
A new feature for the Samsung Galaxy S7 specs will include a liquid-cooled "heat pipe" or "thermal spreader" combined with a heatsink to cool processor heat build-up. This allows the processor's heat to evaporate the liquid inside the heat-pipe.
Afterwards, the vapor moves to the part of the pipe beside the heatsink and cools down, dispelling the heat into the different parts of the handset.
One different thing about the Galaxy S7 Edge is its curved screen OLED display which is placed on a flexible plastic substrate. In turn, the device can bend around the corners of the phone and provides two display areas that can be viewed and utilized from the front or sides.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 specs feature a 3000 mAh battery while the S7 Edge has a bit of a larger battery at 3600 mAh. The Edge's bigger size enables it to have a slightly bigger battery.
