‘Tokyo Ghoul’ Season 3 Release Date: Fans Demands For Series To Be Reboot

Until now, there is no clear report of when FUNimation will announce the "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 release date. Christian Daily reported that studio will make the series different from the manga storyline.

This made some fans upset. This resulted to an online petition for a reboot of "Tokyo Ghoul." Some even managed to use the Wiki page to "let their voice to be heard."

On the other hand, FUNimation and Studio Pierrot did not really confirm the news in regards to making "Tokyo Ghoul" season three as a spin-off. Gen Fukunuga also mentioned in the source that he will continue "Tokyo Ghoul" with the way it was meant to be. Moreover, since he is the CEO of FUNimation Entertainment, many fans were glad to hear this news from him.

Apparently, the reason of the "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 release date delay was because of lack of source material. This can be a great opportunity for the people behind "Tokyo Ghoul" animeto make some improvements.

They could start by making this coming season stick to the original manga's storyline, unlike season two. Meanwhile, it was reported that on Oct. 2015 there were 43 manga chapters finished but this won't be enough to make an entire season for the series.

Fukunuga said that ever since they had broadcasted the anime series last year, many demanded for the "Tokyo Ghoul" to be on mobile games. Movie News Guide also mentioned that, after they had watched season one and two of the anime series, the interest for its mobile game increases each time. Hopefully, they would make a mobile game based on the series and they will continue to follow the original storyline.

Many of the fans are having high hopes that their wait will be worthwhile. The "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 release date will reportedly be aired in 2017 as what rumors suggested.
