After a short hiatus, "NCIS" Season 13 will be back this week with an all-new episode entitled "Homefront," which reports describe to be packed with suspense and action.
In a synopsis for "Homefront," Ecumenical News wrote: "Titled 'Homefront,' the episode will explore the case of a teenager who thwarts a home invasion. Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will start to doubt the 14-year old boy as he thinks that the teen is keeping important details from them."
Director Vance (Rocky Carroll), on the on the hand, will be going to London with Senior FBI Agent Fornell (Joe Spano), where the two will be pursuing Jacob Scott (Vince Nappo), a British spy who is seeking revenge against the NCIS team after having escaped.
Also part of the episode is FLOTUS Michelle Obama whose guest appearance, after several rumors, has already been confirmed by CBS. Obama's appearance, according to CBS, is related to the initiative called "Joining Forces," which seeks to support veterans, service members and their families.
Meanwhile, as the end of Season 13 is nearing, it also means that fans are just few moments away from the final appearance of Michael Weatherly as Tony DiNozzo. The finale episode entitled "Family First" showing on May 17, according to "NCIS" showrunner Gary Glasberg, will be an "emotional roller coaster."
"People should absolutely be planning on some really serious, heart-wrenching moments. There'll be tissues involved," Glasberg told TV Line. "I'm very proud of the emotional resonance of what this is, even in terms of what we're filming right now in the finale."
And when asked if Michael Weatherly's Tony DiNozzo will be killed off in the finale, Glasberg replied: "I would just say that he's prominently all the way through this final episode."
"I want people to understand that Tony DiNozzo will always be a part of this family-but they should also prepare for an emotional roller coaster," he added.
