Bon Jovi Confirms September Release For ‘This House Is Not For Sale’

"This House Is Not For Sale," the much-anticipated new album from Bon Jovi, will be coming out in September 2016, this has been the confirmation of Jon Bon Jovi in his solo show at Austin, Texas last April 30.

The new album was initially announced to be released in March is now, as announced by Jon Bon Jovi, slated for a September 2016 release.

"The record is done," Bon Jovi is seen saying in a YouTube video of his April 30 concert.

"The record is just being mixed now. I'm ecstatic with it for nothing else, out of pain great comes great songs," he added. "And I'm really, really happy with the record. I think we've got a fantastic representation of who we are at this time."

"This House Is Not For Sale" is the second album without the band's longtime guitarist, Richie Sambora, who left the band in 2013. Sambora has co-written some of the known Bon Jovi hits like "Livin' On A Prayer," "You Give Love A Bad Name," "It's My Life," and "Bad Medicine."

Despite the separation, Sambora and Bon Jovi remain in good terms. According to Yibada, the rumored reason for the split is a feud between Sambora and Bon Jovi, who urged the lead guitarist to get treatment and medication for Sambora's drinking problems.

In an interview with ABC News Radio, Sambora said he is open to reuniting with the band, saying, "I am not ruling it out, because I think it would do it a lot for the fans there, because they were so important to us."

The new album also marks the first that is not under the label of Island Records to whom the band partnered with for over three decades. Reports also say that "This House Is Not For Sale" will have Bon Jovi go back to their roots because in recent years, fans observe that the band "sounds different."
