'2 Days & 1 Night' actor Jung Joon Young lawsuit cleared

After weeks of controversy, the Jung Joon Young lawsuit was cleared by the court. This comes as the actor was no longer seen on his show "2 Days & 1 Night" and fans have been wondering the progress of his case.

According to All K Pop, Jung Joon Young was absolved of blame in the case after an intensive investigation into the matter was done. The investigators concluded that it was highly unlikely that Jung Joon Young would have any part in the crime.

It can be remembered that the Jung Joon Young lawsuit was hinged on allegations that he filmed his ex girlfriend while having sex without consent. While the ex girlfriend eventually retracted her statement, the investigation was still continued because of pressure from the public.

The clearing of the name of Jung Joon Young comes as it was rumored this week that a sex video of him was making rounds in the Internet. According to Soompi, C9 Entertainment, however, denied that it was Jung Joon Young in the video. The agency is also planning to sue the person who spread the video and claimed it was Joon Young's.

Before the Jung Joon Young lawsuit, the 27-year old actor/singer was more known for being part of the cast of the KBS variety show "2 Days & 1 Night." He started his career as a celebrity back in 2012 when he placed third in the talent show "Superstar K4." He was also the lead vocalist of the rock band JJY Band.

There is still no announcement as to when Jung Joon Young will return to "2 Days & 1 Night." KPop Starz will be posting more updates on "2 Days & 1 Night" in the coming weeks.
