Girl group Sistar has released the song "One More Day" with the internationally famous composer and producer Giorgio Moroder.
According to PopCrush, the music video is worth more talking about as it is LGBT themed rather thant the collaboration with an international artist. The music video talks about lesbian affairs and domestic abuse. The music video is definitely not your typical kpop music video as it does not have Sistar members in it. It also does not have any choreography even though the song is a pop dance track.
The music video is about the love triangle between two female and a male. The two ladies are in love with each other however, one of them is in a relationship with a guy. They killed the abusive lover of one of them as they escape from him. They put him in a suitcase and put is inside a trunk of a car and burned it.
The song is an energetic, lively and dance floor-friendly production. It has heavy beats and a gloomy sound to it that went well with the dark music video. Sistar members' voices also went well with the song and overall feel of the music video. Their whispery voices are great for the whole song.
Fans are super happy as they do not see LGBT themed music video in kpop every day. Even though shipping between two males and two females are very rampant in the kpop scene, it is still a taboo if it is a serious one. In Sistar's case, their music video was fighting against that prohibition.
The comments are all positive as they love what Starship Entertainment did with the music video. Starship Entertainment has done a music video that also has gay characters in it. K.Will's "Please Don't" is very famous to kpop fans because the music video is about an unrequited and one-sided love of a male gay to his best friend.
