OST for ‘Night Light’ sung by Junsu released; drama ranked 5th in content index

JYJ member Junsu has finished the recording of song "Road" which will become the OST of the MBC drama "Night Light." The song which showcasing his brilliant vocal was released Tuesday, November 6.

According to Seoul Daily News, the song "Road" will be the first original soundtrack of the MBC business drama "Night Light." Junsu's agency C-JeS Entertainment stated the song had been played as the end song in this week's episodes of the drama.

"Road" is composed by Park Jeong-Wook, who is a well-known songwriter which has written many famous OST sung by singers such as Zia, Baek Ji-Young and Lee Eun-young (Ben). The song tells the story of the long and winding road people must go through in life to achieve their dreams. The instrumental version of the song has been played in the second week airing of the drama.

"Night Light" is a business drama that follows the story of people and their pursuit of wealth. The drama is aired as Monday and Tuesday drama on MBC at 10:00 pm.

According to the latest survey, the drama has ranked 5th for the Content Power Index (CPI) rating as reported by Yonhap News Agency. The drama scored 233.9 in CPI in an integrated index gathered from Internet news subscription rankings, direct search rankings, interests and engagement. It reflects the attention and interest from viewers to the content of the drama.

Junsu, who is also well-known by his stage name XIA is the member of the trio JYJ. HE is now focusing on musical drama, and he has been regarded the Korean musical actor a rising star. His voice will now be heard singing the OST for the drama "Night Light."
