IOI's Choi Yoo Jung revealed why she cried at the initial filming of Mnet's new music variety show, "Golden Tambourine!"
Choi Yoo Jung attended a press conference along with other 'Golden Tambourine' MCs on December 12. Choi Yoo Jung shared interesting stories from shooting the first episode.
Choi Yoo Jung told the press, "It was my first time working as an MC together with big names in the entertainment industry. I was nervous, and I did not know what to expect. But after that, I had so much fun with sunbaes. Now my only concern is about how to have more fun so the show will be fun!"
The 17-year-old international age, not traditional Korean age-also shared a story on how she was moved by other MCs' supports and how helpful they were. She said she cried a lot during the initial recording, recalling, "During the opening, Jo Kwon and Shim Hyung Tak gave me all of their lines for me to try. But I missed the timing and couldn't do it at all. Then the sunbaes helped me with practicing their lines. I was so moved that I cried. The memory was remembered dearly even now I'm choking up with tears."
'Golden Tambourine' features four MCs; Choi Yoo Jung, Jo Kwon from 2AM, Yoo See Yoon, and Shim Hyung Tak. The show is inspired by karaoke, the golden time when you can have fun no matter how good or bad your singing are. In the show, the four MCs will compete to see who has the most creative stage performances and fun energy. Even from the image teaser, we can feel the show's aim to brighten our day!
Meanwhile, 'Golden Tambourine' is set to on air on Mnet starting from December 15. Stay tuned for more Choi Yoo Jung's cuteness!
