New star-studded movie “Master” with Lee Byung-Hun, Kang Dong-Won and Kim Woo-Bin is scheduled to premiere few days before Christmas. The movie is expected to hit a box office in Korea and overseas.
CJ Entertainment that hold the distribution right for Korean and international market is scheduled to premiere “Master” simultaneously on Dec. 21. According to Seoul Daily News, the movie will premiere in Korea and seven countries North America. Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia. Subsequently Malaysia in January, followed by Vietnam, Philippines in February and Thailand in March.
The movie “Master” has been sold to 31 countries. One of the main attraction of the movie is its cast members which consist of veteran actor Lee and two young talented actor Kang and Kim. It will be a delightful Christmas treat to watch the three of them in one movie.
Lee is playing as the president of the company who used fraud to enlarge his business. According to Korea Joong Ang Daily this movie marks his return to Korean film landscape after spending time in Hollywood movie.
Regarding his character in “Master” Lee said that he has fun to play it. It is because such character can be found in the real world. Therefore he could get into the character without trouble.
“The character I play in this movie could really exist in the real world, and it would be easy to find someone like the character,” he said.
The 46-year old actor has made his mark in the Hollywood playing the main villain Storm Shadow in two GI Joe’s movie franchises, “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” and “G.I. Joe: Retaliation.” Afterward he also played along with Bruce Willis, Hellen Mirren and John Malkovich in “RED 2.” Last year, he also involved in the recent release of the Terminator franchise movie “Terminator Genisys.”
