First generation idol group Shinhwa has set their their comeback performance by the end of this year in two music program. They will perform on KBS and MBC year-end music program to introduce their new album “Unchanging.”
According to their official schedule, Shinhwa is scheduled to perform on Dec.29 in the KBS Music Award, followed by MBC Music Award in the next two days. They will use the opportunity to introduce the second part of their latest album.
The music award or Gayo Dajeun (가요대축) in Korean which literally means music festival is the annual year-end music program from three main terrestrial TV stations in Korea, KBS, SBS and MBC. SBS is the first station to broadcast their music festival last Monday, Dec. 26 which includes many top singers and groups such as TWICE, AOA, Big Bang, Shinee and many others.
Shinhwa managed themselves with Shinhwa Company which was formed in 2011, and they will release the second part of their comeback album next year. They will use the two music festivals to give a taste of their new album as reported by News1. The first part of the album was launched last month titled “Unchanging Part 1: Orange.”
The second part of their 13th album is named “Unchanging Part 2: Touch” with a track single “Touch” which will be performed in those two music programs The official release is scheduled Jan. 2, 2017.
Shinhwa was formed in 1998 as the first generation idol group. Together with g.o.d., H.O.T., Sech Kies, and Fin K.L. they paved the way for today’s Korean idol groups. After 16 years, they are still active in music industry and their fans are considered as the most loyal to their favorite group.
