2PM boyband lead vocalist Jun K. reveals real meaning behind his latest song "Your Wedding." The K-pop singer confirmed reports that the song was based on his real experience, during his appearance on SBS Power FM's "Culto Show" on Jan. 17.
Allkpop revealed that the band's new song was first to introduced in the said guesting and the singer Jun K. admitted that the song "Your Wedding" was about his ex-girlfriend getting married. "About 70% is based on personal experience. It is a song depicting the sadness of attending one's ex-girlfriend's wedding." he said. The boyband member also revealed how and what he felt when he received the news about his ex-girlfriend's wedding, "I read: I'm getting married,' when I got that message...I felt so strange."
In his interview with SBS Power FM's 'Choi Hwa Jung's Power time last August 9, the main singer was asked if his last relationship was a celebrity, but the singer answered, "No, it wasn't." Although the singer confessed his latest girlfriend is a celebrity. He said he has had the same girl type for quite a long time and he is really a fan of her. "My fans are already aware, it's Kim Min Jung noona. She even promoted my album, and I liked her since I was little." Jun K. said smiling.
The singer-songwriter Jun K. also confirmed that he did not go to the wedding. Instead, it gave him an incredible idea to write a song and it surprisingly gave him an heartbreaking masterpiece, Soompi reported.
"Your Wedding" is a solo song of Jun K. and has been released together with his new album "77-1X3-00". The music video of the song has been release on Jan. 12. It is starred by his co-2PM singer Nichkun and star Nayeon as the bride. A part of the music video shows Nayeon walking towards Nichkun and Nickhun smiles but Nayeon eventually pass him by.
