Following in the footsteps of her new husband Jung Ji Hoon, or more popularly known as Rain, actress Kim Tae Hee, handwrote a letter addressed to fans after she and Rain married in a private ceremony in Seoul yesterday. Fans will remember that just last January 17, Rain posted a handwritten note announcing their upcoming wedding.
They officially tied the knot yesterday, January 19, 2017 in a private ceremony attended by close friends and relatives. The place was reportedly kept a secret even from the guests until three hours before the wedding as reported by AllKpop. They were apparently told of the time, but not the location.
After the ceremony, Kim Tae Hee, through her agency, released a letter thanking her fans and supporters. In her letter, as reported by Soompi, she writes, " Today is the first day on the long journey we will embark together, and we wanted to take that first step with the support of all the fans who have loved us and cared for us." She continues to say that the and her husband Rain will care and respect each other, and help each other with what they lack.
She further wrote, " With the warmth that I have learned from your overwhelming love, I'll do my best to repay you as an actress and do the best as the wife in a family. The man who will be my life partner and I will support each other and give each other strength."
She ends her letter with a loving wish that no one will get sick during this cold season and some greetings for the new year. Kim Tae Hee and Rain's wedding were attended by several well-known celebrities such as Park Jin Young, who performed and PSY, who collaborated with Rain in his latest single, "The Best Present," a song he has dedicated to his now wife, Kim Tae Hee.
