Fans from all over the world are shocked to hear that the popular girl group 2NE1 are disbanding and even preparing their farewell song. Apparently, this surprise was caused by Park Bom, hence the singer opted to share her diary, revealing her feelings about Yang Hyun Suk.
The 2NE1 disbandment was definitely devastating news for the girl group's fans worldwide. The reason behind Yang Hyun Suk's decision to disband the group was revealed in a recent interview as per AllKPop. The YG Entertainment CEO explained that the decision was made in order to protect 2NE1 after Minzy left. However, another reason was because Yang Hyun Suk believed that Park Bom's mental health was not doing very well.
The 32-year old 2NE1 singer was involved in a drug controversy which caused her to feel stress and guilt. Despite Park Bom's longing to keep going with 2NE1, Yang Hyun Suk suggested that her mental and physical health should be her top priority.
However, all hope is not lost for the fans of 2NE1 as Yang Hyun Suk hinted that the popular girl group may reunite one day. Meanwhile, 2NE1 is busy preparing their farewell song "Goodbye," slated for release on January 21.
Moreover, Park Bom has opened up regarding the matter and shared her diary in the form of a tweet. The singer's feelings were evident in her heartfelt message as she tweeted a photo of her handwritten diary with the caption "This is my diary from 2years ago, I just wanted to post this up to show it to my fans All around the world."
According to Park Bom's diary entry, she viewed Yang Hyun Suk as "A person of greatness," and "He's smart, has very good intuition and is cold when it comes to business but very relatable at the same time." The artist also mentioned that the YG Entertainment CEO was "a cool person," "amazing," and "so awesome."
Korea Portal reports that the diary entry was written in the same year that Park Bom's drug controversy came about. The singer was accused of smuggling drugs which caused Yang Hyun Suk himself to become involved.
