Sistar's very own Hyolyn is coming to the big apple and the city of angels in March. Hyolyn from the popular mega-group is set to perform for the very first time in the United States.
Sistar's Hyolyn will grace the nightclubs of New York City and Los Angeles in March as reported by Yonhap News. The tours set in the United states is said to be the artist's first live vocal performances in the country. According to Starship Entertainment, Hyolyn's live performances in New York and Los Angeles was made possible via a partnership with the U.S. Transparent Agency.
Apparently, her nightclub tour isn't the only reason Hyolyn is coming to America. The popular Sistar member will be leaving for the United States in the same month.
Korea Times reports that SXSW has described Sistar's Hyolyn as the "Korean Beyonce." Hyolyn made her debut with Sistar back in 2010 on the group's single "Push Push." The singer was recognized for her singing skills which triggered multiple collaborations with international artists.
The SXSW Music Festival is one of the largest events in the music industry, and other K-pop artists that were also featured in the said event include Hip-hop artist Jay Park and 4Minute's HyunA.
Starship Entertainment says that Hyolyn will do her very best to promote K-pop in the music festival.
