‘2NE1’ Latest News & Updates: Sandara Park To Host ‘Get It Beauty’ TV Show

After the disbandment of the legendary girl group 2NE1, Sandara Park is off to new projects. A recent announcement revealed that Dara will be the new host of OnStyle channel's "Get It Beauty."

2NE1's farewell song "Goodbye" was released on Jan. 20, 2017, and is already hitting high marks in YouTube and iTunes. A few days after the group's final song was released, Dara hosted the first episode of OnStyle Channel's new cosmetics review show "Get It Beauty" on Sunday, Pop Inquirer reports.

The sudden disbandment of the legendary group 2NE1 came as a massive shock to many, especially that some believed that Minzy's leave would not affect the group. After Minzy refused to renew her contract with YG Entertainment, 2NE1 was supposed to continue as a trio, however, Park Bom's involvement in a drug scandal triggered something else. According to previous reports, Yang Hyun Suk decided to disband 2NE1 in order to prioritize the mental and physical health of Park Bom since the stresses of the controversy proved to be a lot to handle.

Moreover, 2NE1's Sandara Park is also reported to play a new female leading role in the upcoming web-drama "Dr. Mo Clinic" as reported by K-pop Herald. The latter is a Korean-Chinese project which will consist of several short episodes online.

Apparently, Dara will take the role of Lee So-dam, a rather awkward woman who is rather shy. In addition, Sandara's character also has the rather adorable reaction to awkward situations, whereas she covers her face with a mask or even her long hair as a form of self-preservation.

According to the same report, Sandara Park says that she and her character have multiple similarities. It is worth mentioning that Dara also mentioned that the web-drama would be her first attempt at acting.
