Lee Se Young's Sexual Harassment Case Dismissed; Comedienne Not Ready to Return on TV

Lee Se Young, the comedienne who was embroiled in the controversial B1A4 sexual harassment case in November last year, revealed that she has no immediate plans of going back to work. Back then, the police filed an indecent conduct charge against her due to the inappropriate actions she showed on "SNL Korea."

After two months of investigation, all the charges against Lee Se Young have been dropped. Star News reported on Jan. 4, that the Seoul Mapo Police is set to forward the full report on the case, to the prosecutor's office. However, the police will be submitting the documents as a dismissed case.

While Lee's name has already been officially cleared, it may take some time before she resumes activities on TV. Her agency, FNC Entertainment, revealed on Jan. 23 that the Seoul Western District Prosecutor's Office sent a notice, informing them that their artist is now free from any legal charges.

The agency went on to say that although Lee Se Young is off the hook, there is still no plans about her comeback. The company rep stressed that at this point, there is nothing to report about the comedienne since she is currently on hiatus, Sports Seoul reported.

Lee Se Young's troubles started when a footage of ‘initiation' for B1A4 was posted on "SNL Korea" Facebook page. The video which has since been deleted, showed the five members of the said boy group, being touched by the female staff members of the show, including the comedienne.

As can be seen in the clip, a group of females were grabbing the genital area of the B1A4 members and they were visibly surprised with the situation. The boys just laughed it off but they were embarrassed nonetheless.

Later, more videos of the same ‘groping habit,' at the backstage of the R rated TV show, have surfaced online. It was found that the same thing happened to Block B and INFINITE when they also appeared on the show as guests.

Citing a report on Dispatch, the idols were called in to give their testimonies. They denied that Lee Se Young actually touched them inappropriately and stated that they were not offended by the act.

In the end, Lee Se Young was absolved. The police explained that the TV personality just made the movement and did not really come into physical contact with the B1A4 members.
