"Saturday Night Live Korea" star Kim Seul Gi had a brief cameo on the finale episode of "Legend of the Blue Sea," a South Korean television series that starred Lee-Min-Ho who won a Best New Actor Award at the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards for the role Gu Jun-Pyo in 'Boys Over Flowers' in 2009. The television series aired on SBS every Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 PM (KST).
Soompi reported that it was an SBS insider that revealed Kim Seul Gi's cameo in the final episode. Her character brought laughter to the finale, an unusual theme from the usual emotional scenes expected from the show.
The final episode of "Legend of the Blue Sea" have aired last Jan. 25 at 10:00 PM (KST). The show had a bittersweet ending, just exactly the same that fans predicted.
"Legend of the Blue Sea" has seen a line of special appearances from various actors, including Cha Tae Hyun, Jo Jung Suk, Ahn Jae Hong and others. Kim Seul Gi played a "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" role. Prior to that, she also worked with tvN's romantic comedy series "Oh My Ghostess", where she is the main character, according to IBTimes.
Kim Seul Gi will have a lot of shows coming her way. She will be seen next in the drama "Queen of the Ring" with Ahn Hyo-seop. Her role is a mean girl who possesses a magical ring that will make Ahn Hyo-seop's character fall in love with her.
