February has been a productive month for several prominent idol groups. Just recently, a survey revealed some top idol groups that have been making a huge success in February.
BTS and TWICE are among the list of top idol groups for February. The two idol groups have released their new music that has been performing well on local music charts, Korea Portal reported. The Korean Business Research even took into account to find out which Kpop idol groups make the best brand reputation in February. Based on the study that was conducted from January 23 to February 24, the research reveals that BTS, TWICE, and Red Velvet are on the top-three list.
The conducted research involved at least 118,483,385 data. According to the data, it was concluded that BTS came in the first place with 17.38 percent of the total population. TWICE has set its second place on top idol groups for February with a score of 15,307,269. Meanwhile, Red Velvet came in the third place followed by EXO and BLACKPINK to making up the top-five list of top idol groups for February.
Idol group BTS has been making it to the headline and Korean music charts with "Spring Day". The new track can be considered as one of the most successful BTS' gigs that scored millions of views in just at least 48 hours. Even though the group gained a controversy during the event of The 6th GAON Music Chart Awards, BTS still remains popular and even named as one of the top idol groups for February batch. The group's choreography on "Not Today" soon creates a new trend wave once it goes viral.
Another top idol group of this month, TWICE, has also scored a new record with their new single "Knock Knock", which has exceeded 30 million views on YouTube in less than a week. TWICE's viewership record is considered better that BTS "Spring Day" that was released a few days before "Knock Knock".
