Song Ji Hyo’s Beauty Lusters Despite Her Shocking New Hairstyle In “Running Man”

Song Ji Hyo, in the upcoming episode of SBS's "Running Man," is tasked to get a shocking new hairstyle. In this episode, Song Ji Hyo is tasked with visiting a local hairdresser for a mission.

According to Soompi, she surprised everyone when she came back. It apparently seemed that everything was the same as if nothing has happened. Song Ji Hyo reportedly left the hairdresser with hair done in strong, tight curls of the signature "ahjumma perm."

It was apparently amusing because she does not have enough time to take out all the perm rods. This resulted in Song Ji Hyo running through the streets with perm rods still stuck in several parts of her hair.

Despite this, it was later learned that the production staff could not help but be awed by her extreme tenacity. Accordingly, Song Ji Hyo's messy hair could not even hide and diminish her shining beauty.

According to Viki, Song Ji Hyo, born as Cheon Seong Im, has always wanted to become an actress. She apparently chose her stage name from among two famous actors, Song Seung Heon and Song Hye Gyo. Song Ji Hyo made her acting debut in the 2003 film "Whispering Corridors: Wishing Stairs."

On the other hand, the "Running Man" is a favorite South Korean variety show that was first aired in July 2010. The original concept of the show featured hosts and special guests trying to win the competition by completing tasks that are located at a specific Korean landmark.

After Episode 48, the show shifted to a more familiar reality cum variety show concept that is focused on games. The translation of the episodes of the "Running Man" into several different languages has rendered it popular in Asia. Moreover, the show has allegedly made it to the list of Business Insider's 20 TV Shows of 2016.
