T-ara reportedly, is set to return to the K-pop music scene this year. In Mar. 6 MBK Entertainment confirmed the news and revealed that T-ara will be making a revival with their 13th mini-album. T-ara is coming back soon!
According to Soompi, while the release of Jiyeon's solo album is still being postponed indefinitely, MBK Entertainment said that T-ara's comeback mini-album will be released first. The girls, as a full group will be coming back in early May.
MBK Entertainment apparently said that, they have not decided on the title of the song yet. But definitely, the company added that it will be a bright, popping song. "It will be a 180 degree change from "Ti Amo" which was a medium tempo song. We will come back with a clear, summer song," MBK Entertainment said.
This upcoming resurgence is scheduled six months after T-ara's 12th mini-album, "Remember," that was released in Nov. 2016. T-ara's most recent title track "Ti Amo," apparently received a lot of adoration from the public. It will be interesting to perceive what kind of song the group will carry this time around.
As posted by Wikipedia, T-ara is a girl group formed in 2009 by MBK Entertainment. The group's present and most celebrated lineup includes Boram, Qri, Soyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin and Jiyeon. T-ara's pursuit is accordingly marked by hook-heavy dance music that is a result of their close partnership with composer Shinsadong Tiger.
T-ara participated in the opening of the Busan One Asia Festival 2016 in the in Oct. They also performed at the Jeju Olleh Duty Free Shop Concert wherein they executed the songs "Sexy Love" and "I Don't Want You."
In Nov. 2016 MBK Entertainment released T-ara's mini-album produced by Duble Sidekick. T-ara's eighth extended play, "Remember," with the lead single "Ti Amo " was released, followed by three fan-signing events.
