Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Doyeon will reportedly be starring in their own reality show soon. Both girls are trainees of Fantagio and were formerly adorable members of the girl group I.O.I. The two will soon be the luminaries of a reality show that highlights on their adventures in Los Angeles.
The duo, according to Soompi, traveled to the United States together last month. They accordingly toured the country for several days and even shared some photos from their trip in Los Angeles. During their travels, Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Doyeon apparently trained with local professionals as they prepare for their official debut.
Their new travel reality show will reportedly be called "Dodaeng's Diary in LA." Dodaeng accordingly is the pair's nickname. The show is scheduled to have six episodes. The first episode will reportedly release on Apr. 7 on TVING.
On Mar. 20, a trailer of the show was reportedly shared showing the pair just roaming around. They travel around the city, enjoy some food, and watch the sunset on the beach together. Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Doyeon are expected to be making their official debut as members of Fantagio's new girl group this year.
I.O.I or Ideal of Idol was a girl group formed by CJ E&M through the 2016 reality show "Produce 101" on Mnet. The group was composed of eleven members chosen from a pool of 101 trainees from various entertainment companies.
The group's concert titled "Time Slip - I.O.I," which was held in January 2017, was their last group activity on stage. The group officially disbanded at the end of January 2017. Each of the members reportedly returned to their respective agencies.
Accordingly, I.O.I's last schedule as a group was on Jan.25 when they filmed a new CF for school uniform brand Elite. The band officially disbanded on Jan. 29, with the members' last television show appearance on MBC's "Section TV," and the fan cafe closed down on Jan. 31.
