Henry of Super Junior is reportedly deeply moved and thereby thanked his fans for making his new song "Girlfriend" number one in the music charts. He accordingly expressed his gratitude through the networks of his agency SM Entertainment. He said that he never imagined that his song would actually hit the music charts.
Henry reportedly released the self-written and self-composed digital single "Girlfriend" in early 2017, The track was accordingly briefly revealed during his first appearance on MBC's "I Live Alone." It gained attention for being an impromptu self-composed song.
Apparently, as reported by Soompi, Henry did not initially plan to release "Girlfriend." Allegedly, the song was composed just for fun during his filming of the MBC episode. But after the show aired, most of those who heard it apparently commented that they like the song. So, he seemingly treated the song more seriously.
The singer also mentioned that he I was able to get good ideas from Yoo Hee Yeol. Purportedly, Henry was filming an episode of "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" when he composed the song. He further said that probably it was the show that people came to know of his song.
Henry was reportedly very thankful to his supporters by saying that the song was not only made by himself but with all the people that love him. The artist also gave hints about his next single. "I was working on my next song yesterday. I hope you look forward to it. It has spring vibes so it will match well with the atmosphere these days," he said.
