Yeon Woo Jin reportedly might be seen as an actor in a new drama entitled "Seven Day Queen." Accordingly, the actor's agency Jump Entertainment said that KBS has furnished the actor with a script of the drama series. Meantime, Yeon Woo Jin is studying it and it looks like the result will be positive.
According to Soompi, there was a previous report stating that Lee Jin Wook, Park Min Young, and Jin Goo were also offered roles in the drama. The new drama allegedly is produced by director-producer Lee Jung Seob. His works, among others, include "Hong Gil Dong," and "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho."
"Seven Day Queen," says Dramabeans in its post, tells the story of Joseon's King Jungjong and his queen, Dangyeong. Accordingly, both were crowned and then dethroned within a week's time. Although he was born to royalty, Jungjong was forced to live a muffled existence. The only thing he can do to recover his vested rights is to challenge his older half-brother, tyrant king Yeonsangun.
After Yeonsangun was overthrown, Jungjong became king. He accordingly envisioned himself to be a good ruler to his country. Nonetheless, the queen's father was apparently divergent to his rule and executed a coup. Jungjong was killed, and Queen Dangyeong automatically was then overthrown.
If Yeon Woo Jin accepts the offer, he will be playing the character, Jin Sung. He debuted as a model at Seoul Fashion Week in 2007. He went into acting in the 2009 film "Just Friends?" with the stage name Seo Ji Hoo.
To be more effective, Seo Ji Hoo's management agency later changed his name to Yeon Woo Jin. He is best known for his roles in the popular television dramas "Arang and the Magistrate," and "Divorce Lawyer in Love," among others. Reportedly, "Seven Day Queen" will start airing after "Chief Kim" and "Mystery Queen" ends.
