Kim Go Eun of Goblin and Shin Ha Kyun have reportedly separated. They two celebrity allegedly have been publicly dating for around eight months. The couple had obviously called it quits because of their hectic schedules.
According to Women's Weekly, both Kim Go Eun and Shin Ha Kyun's agency, HODU&U Entertainment have confirmed they have separated. The two accordingly broke up at the end of Feb. It is a sad news from the K-drama world, but nonetheless, they will reportedly remain on good terms.
Kim Go Eun and Shin Ha Kyun reportedly announced their relationship in Aug. 2016. They announced that they had started dating sometime in June. Accordingly, it is because of their common hobby of scuba diving that the couple managed to overcome their 17 years' age difference.
As reported by Koreaboo, Shin Ha Kyun was previously a mentor of Kim Go Eun for acting prior to her transfer to his agency HODU&U Entertainment. Kim Go Eun recently starred in tvN's mega-hit drama "Goblin." On the other hand, Shin Ha Kyun's upcoming movies "Wicked Woman" and "Room 7" will be released later in 2017.
Kim Go Eun is an award-winning actress. She reportedly moved with her family to China when she was four lived there for 10 years before going back to Korea. She gained prominence with her 2012 debut role in "A Muse" that garnered her several Best New Actress Awards.
Accordingly, Shin Ha Kyun is a veteran award-winning actor. He studied as a stage actor at the Seoul Institute of the Arts. He made it to the movies when he was featured in his first film, "The Happenings" in 1998. In the year 2000, the film "Joint Security Area" projected him to fame. Although most of his career has been spent in films, Shin Ha Kyun also has starred in the popular television dramas like "Pied Piper."
