TWICE has maintained its lead in the list of singers in the Korean Business Research Institute's brand reputation survey. The K-pop girl group beat out Girl's Generation's Taeyeon and male K-pop idols BTS for the top spot this month.
According to Soompi, the Korean Business Research Institute released the results of its survey gathered from February 23 to March 24 which took into consideration factors like brand participation, media, communication, and community. Based on the survey, TWICE ranked first with a total brand reputation index of 12,309,374.
Girl's Generation Taeyeon who recently released her solo album and achieved All-Kill status in four hours after the release of her song "Fine," placed second with a total index of 10,128,627. BTS or the Bangtan Boys, who are currently in the United States for the Newark and Anahaim legs of their Wings Tour, placed third in the list with a 9,585,572 score.
Aside from TWICE, K-pop groups who also ruled the survey included Lovelyz, BTOB, EXO, GFRIEND, BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, SEVENTEEN, GOT7, BIG BANG, VIXX, MAMAMOO, AOA, Bolbbalgan4, INFINITE and Block B. IU, who is set to release her solo album next month and Miss A's Suzy Bae are also among the branding chart's top influencers.
TWICE also placed first in the survey conducted by the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation in January while a similar survey from the Korea Business Research Institute for girls groups in February also ranked the "Knock Knock" singers in the #1 spot.
For Korean actors, Gong Yoo recently took the top spot on the brand reputation chart conducted by Korea Business Research Institute between February 17 and March 17, beating fellow actors Lee Byung Hun, Jo In Sung and Hyun Bin, Kpopstarz reported.
The "Goblin" actor took the top spot with a 5,681,565 and a profile that increased significantly by 47 percent from the past month. Lee Byung Hun, Kim Soo Hyun, Joo Jin Woong, Jun Ji Hyun, Hyun Bin, Jun Woo Sung, Jo In Sung, Han Ji Min and Yoo Hae Jin rounded up the Top 10.
