STELLAR Introduces Newest Member Named Im Soyoung, The Group Holds Two Night Concert In Tokyo

STELLAR is adding another gorgeous talent to its lineup. The newest member who will add another color to the group is Im Soyoung.

STELLAR's official page announced the good news recently. Allkpop reported Makestar Project announced that Im Soyoung's presence will add the charm as well as renew the group's energy for its upcoming comeback.

Im Sooyoung is 24 years old and was a trainee for two years. The new member apparently has a number of musical skills including playing the piano and guitar, and her vocal skill can also be contested with the other members.

Fans have also congratulated STELLAR for its newest addition. Many of them believe that Soyoung will be another wow factor for the group. However, there are also fans who don't think it's necessary to add a new member since they think the original members will have fewer lines than they deserve. However, they're excited what Soyoung has in store to amaze them in the future.

Meanwhile, STELLAR is scheduled to hold a two-night-concert in Tokyo on May 19-20, according to HelloKpop. The agency announced the news back in April. Each STELLAR member will perform individually. The group will also perform their newest tracks in the concert.

The two-night-concert in Tokyo will mark the group's second performance in Japan. Prior to the upcoming concert, STELLAR had their Japanese and showcase in 2016. Besides the great attention STELLAR receives from its Japanese fans, the girl group is also the first Korean girl group that has held a solo concert in Brazil in March.

Jeonyul, Lee Hyoeun, Cho Youngjin, and Kim Iseul debuted as STELLAR in 2011 with the mini album "Rocket Girl". The group quickly gained attentions in its rookie year for having Shinhwa's Eric Mun as the producer. However, the outcome was not as fantastic as it should be. In 2014, STELLAR drew controversy with their EP "Marionette". The members were criticized for promoting over-sexualized content.
