BTS’ Jimin once again topped the boy group member brand reputation rankings for August. According to data from the Korean Business Research Institute, the K-pop idol earned an index of 9,076,953.
This serves as his eighth consecutive month topping the said ranking.
Following him is fellow BTS member V (8,012,641), who tallied a whopping 53.32 percent-increase. Earlier this month, he dropped a surprise solo English-language track he co-wrote himself.
Coming in third place is another K-pop star from the K-pop powerhouse group. Jungkook earned a brand reputation index of 6,449,652.
This ranking is based on several indexes that measure media coverage consumer participation, community awareness, and communication. For the month of August, the big data were collected from July 15 to August 16.
Completing the Top 10 are BTS’ Jin (5th), EXO’s Baekhyun (6th), Chanyeol (7th), and Sehun (9h), HOTSHOT’s Ha Sung Woon (8th), and PENTAGON’s Hui (10th).
Meanwhile, Other BTS members also occupied spots in the Top 15 of the said ranking, with Suga, RM, and J-Hope taking the 12th, 13th, and 14th spots, respectively. Also included in the Top 15 are NU’EST’s Minhyun (11th) and WINNER’s Kim Jin Woo (15th).

Meanwhile, in related BTS news, broadcast network SBS recently announced that they will be airing a BTS special coinciding with the Chuseok Holiday (Korean Thanksgiving).
Billed as “BTS Variety Chronicles,” this special broadcast will give delight to ARMYs by presenting a round-up of the best moments delivered by the K-pop superstars on different variety programs aired on SBS.
Airing in mid-September, this show will be hosted by Kim Sung Joo, Jang Ye Won, and Jung Hyung Don.
