In March this year, JYP Entertainment and Nayeon withdrew the protective restraining orders against the idol's German stalker.

In a recent alarming post, he said:

"Hi, could you just say something important to TWICE's Nayeon? Its Josh, this is me. I am not a stalker. I just absolutely adore Nayeon, and I need to speak about my thoughts and emotions with her.

Simply advise her to grant me an opportunity to explain myself. Please, there seems to be a number of misleading news about me on the web, and please, do tell Nayeon I'll move back to Korea as quickly as the COVID-19 pandemic flight ban is lifted. Perhaps by the beginning of July."

In March this year, JYP Entertainment and Nayeon withdrew the protective restraining orders against the idol's German stalker, albeit the agency's assertion that if the stalker returns to Korea, the protection order will take effect immediately once more.

In April 2020, ONCEs got worried about Nayeon's safety amid the life-threatening statements that her stalker had reportedly made. At the end of December 2019, throughout the band's trip to Korea from Japan, an international stalker identified as Josh came to Nayeon.

The stalker confessed to pursuing Nayeon on the plane in a post that was deleted after that time to send her his love notes. Afterward, the detention order was released, and JYP Entertainment lodged criminal charges.

On March 18, Star News announced that the restraining order was partially revoked as Josh fled to Germany at the end of January after having leaked Chaeyoung's contact number.

Josh's criminal proceedings had not been revoked, and the Immigration Service was told to phone the police so that he had to be removed from the airport immediately after his arrival to Korea.

Although Nayeon's security has been enforced, ONCEs reached out again to JYP Entertainment to warn new threats.

JYP Entertainment spokesperson relayed to Star News, "Nayeon has removed her stalker from the restricting order.

The order of restriction is civil. Because of difficulties with delivery, we have withdrawn the order and will move ahead again when the stalker comes into Korea.

We have not withdrawn the criminal complaint of company intervention presently in suspension.

Actions have been implemented to get the Immigration Service in touch with the head of the police to take him straight from the airport whenever the stalker lands in Korea."

Josh is a German man who has been so fascinated with Nayeon that he constantly created posts that all about his immense love for the K-pop star. He identified the others as he encountered the TWICE group on the aircraft.

He has an unbridled desire to approach the idol and giving her gifts. Therefore, rather than a stalker, he regards himself as more than a fan.

After a court order was issued, he was forced to leave South Korea.
