Singer-Songwriter Jeong Se Woon Takes an All-Around Role This Past 2020

Ahead of his highly anticipated comeback on January 6 with "24 Part 2," Jeong Se Woon has shown his talents as an all-around entertainer through various appearances in 2020.

Starting off on June 23, when Jeong Se Woon released "24 Part 1," marking his 2020 summer comeback and establishing himself as a singer-songwriter. In his six-track studio album, the young Starship Entertainment talent worked on the wiring and composition of the songs, displaying his growth as a musician while retaining his own style.

"21 Part 1" songs include "Say Yes," "Don't Know," "Horizon," "Beeeee," "O (Circle)," and "By Dawn." The album was a commercial success, peaking at the twelfth spot of the South Korean Gaon album charts.

He further made his presence known with various television show appearances in promotion of his album as well as in his roles MC, showing his ability to instantly connect with his fellow MCs as well as the audience.

In February, Jeong appeared in SBS Plus' program "Korean on the Bare Ground" followed by his appearance in the JBTC variety show "Knowing Bros." He has also appeared in tvN's "Will They Eat When Delivered?" and SBS' "Correct Quiz Show - Today's Delivery."

Jeong Se Woon also made an acclaimed performance in the recently-aired "Sing Street," KBS 1TV's year-end special music documentary. His sweet vocals and warm performance were definitely one for the records.

The year 2020 also saw him continue his great work as a radio DJ in the EBS Radio program "Listen," acting as its host since 2019. Se Woon also got a commendation award and was recognized as its goodwill ambassador from the Seoul branch of the Korean National Red Cross.

Even his own fanbase, "Haengwoon" or "Luck," has made their own strides in support of their beloved singer-songwriter. One of Haengwoon's campaigns includes significant donations to a tree planting drive, to help the forests in Gangwon Province recover after experiencing extensive fires.

Jeong Se Woon is set to release his 2021 comeback, "24 Part 2," on January 6.
