BTS member J-Hope would be celebrating his red-letter day on Feb. 18 and ARMYs, as per usual, has been preparing something for the K-Pop idol. As a matter of fact, avid followers of the "Life Goes On" singer hosted a fundraiser in line with the celebrations of his imminent 27th birthday.
J-Hope's Filipino Fans Host Fundraiser to Build Classrooms
HobiPhilippines, which the a Filipino fan club established for BTS member J-Hope, has launched the "I'm Your Hope in a Bottle" fundraiser days before the K-Pop idol's special day. The group is aiming to sell out 40,000 bottle of waters to restaurants, cafes, stores, and even online starting Feb. 15.
The proceeds of the fundraiser would be donated to build school classrooms for Filipino youth. HobiPhilippines, reportedly, made ths fundraiser amid the classroom shortage in the country, which currently in need of 34,000 classrooms for more than 1.5 million students.
"I'm Your Hope in a Bottle" is a collaboration between HobiPhilippines and Hope: Business for Good, which is a company that aims to provide clean water to people in the Philippines. The Hope: Business for Good has received citations and accolades for its social impact.
Other Filipino fans are also hosting charity events to celebrate the birthday of J-Hope. "Hope for Children PH" would be collecting donations for homeless children and those who live under the poverty line. "Dance for Hope," on the other hand, would teach people with developmental disabilities how to dace and "TWL Smile of Hope" is a fundraising to provide free surgeries for kids who were born with cleft palates.

BTS member J-Hope Projected to Break in America in 2021
Meanwhile, the K-Pop industry is seen to grown even more this year as more and more acts from South Korea have started making waves in the international stage. Among the artists that could make it big in the United States is BTS member J-Hope.
Forbes reported that the co-member of Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, Suga, V and RM has a big chance make some noise again, especially after he became one of the five South Korean soloist to ever make it on the Billboard 200 Chart. The BTS member is, also, the first to break into the Top 40 with an album.
Most, if not all, fans can recall that J-Hope debuted his solo album called "Hope World" in 2018. The EP effortlessly rose to No. 38 on the Billboard 200 Chart and No. 16 on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart.
If that is not enough, J-Hope also made it to the Billboard Hot 100 with his single called "Chichen Noodle Soup," which featured Latina superstar Becky G. The feat made him among the few South Korean stars to ever appear on the said chart.
Since the tracks released by J-Hope has not been connected to any television series or movie projects, devoted followers of the BTS member projected that he is very likely to release another studio album in 2021. While there are no official details up to this writing, it is expected to be bigger than his previous songs.
