MONSTA X Tantalizes in Black Suits at the Blue Dragon Awards

MONSTA X has definitely established themselves as reliable performers as the six-piece group decorates the 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards with a special stage, performing in visually spectacular black suits.

In their special celebratory stage, the members Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. appeared with their exceptional behavior and equally exceptional visuals.

Hosted by actor Yoo Yeon Seok and actress Kim Hye Soo this year, the Blue Dragon Film Awards is an annual awards ceremony that recognizes film excellence in South Korea.

Awarded by Sports Chosun - a sister brand to leading newspaper Chosun Ilbo - the awards are said to only consider films that are certified blockbusters or those that have been appraised to have high artistic value released from the past year.

The 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards were held at the Paradise City in Incheon, South Korea.

In the event, the six-piece boy group under Starship Entertainment definitely matched visuals with the biggest actors in the Korean film industry. Media outlets have compared their dazzling black ensembles to being lead characters on screen. Furthermore, their widely renowned performance levels only served to increase the admiration for their intense yet synchronized choreography.

Fitting with a film awards night, MONSTA X performed a Black Suit version of their hit song "Love Killa," the lead single from their latest comeback album, "Fatal Love."

In the official music video for Love Killa, each member of the group dressed up in homage to some of the most iconic characters in modern film and pop culture - such as The Dark Knight's Joker, American Psycho's Patrick Bateman, and Fight Club's Tyler Durden.

In their performance, MONSTA X definitely delivered the concept of love's fatal potential, only further emphasized by the members' overwhelming appeal. During the Blue Dragon performance, actresses Kim Hee Ae, Kim So Hye, and Shin Hye Sun were found concentrating on the performance.

After the breathtaking stage, actor and awards night host Yoo Yeon Seok reiterated the public's opinion: that the MONSTA X performance captured his heart too. He even tried imitating the choreography of the song, further demonstrating the impact that the special stage had on him.

On the other hand, his fellow event host Kim Hye Soo also pointed out that the special celebratory stage was obviously meticulously planned and well-thought-of, resulting in an amazing performance.

Praising the entire choreography, Kim Hye Soo commented that the six members were filled with restrained sexiness.
