BTS Jungkook, V, and Jimin are the World's Most Popular Asian Singers

Famous Birthdays, an America-based website dedicated to categorizing the birthdays of famous celebrities and influencers and compiling additional facts about them, as well as ranking them based on popularity, ranked BTS's Jungkook, V, and Jimin among the world's top celebrities and influencers.

According to their ranking for the "Most Popular Pop Singer", the youngest BTS members ranked within the top 50 for the category. Jungkook ranked no. 22, whereas V and Jimin were ranked not far behind at no. 34 and no. 42, respectively, proving themselves to be highly recognized and popular as global pop singers beyond K-Pop and showing a repuation that rivals even the world's most popular stars.

In addition, Jungkook has been in the rankings for four years in a row from 2018 to 2021, originally being the only Asian singer on the list, but now joined by V and Jimin.

BTS Jungkook Tops Google Search, Most Searched K-Pop Idol

For Google Search, the youngest member has once again topped the ranks. Jungkook ranked first as the most searched K-Pop idol for four years in a row, from 2017 to 2020.

In addition, for two years in row, he ranked first as the most searched on Youtube. He also topped Tumblr's "Top K-Pop Star" in 2020 and Tik Tok for three years.

On Twitter, Jungkook became the most retweeted person in Korea in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, he went on to have the most retweeted tweets in the world, whereas he ranked second in 2020.

His individual presence as both an artist and a person has continued to grow throughout the years, and it does not look like it will stop anytime soon.

HYBE Opens Official Twitter Account

On Mar. 31, HYBE finally launched their website and opened their official Twitter account.

Originally Big Hit Entertainment, Chairman and CEO Bang Si Hyuk announced on Mar. 10 the rebranding and company name change. With the new name, Bang Si Hyuk hopes for the company to become the world's leading lifestyle and entertainment company, taking on a more general content.

With HYBE, their range of operations have become wider and are not solely focused on music, with the company being able to go into producing games as well. The company organization is made up of HYBE HQ and HYBE America, featuring three main parts within: HYBE Labels, for the company's music and artist management; HYBE Solutions, for their ventures in technology; and HYBE Platforms, focusing on connecting HYBE's services to the public.
